How to Upload H.265 Video to HitFilm Pro?

It's highly possible that some multimedia web services allow you to download video clips. However, these can come under various different formats that might not work with your projects. For example, you might download some H.265 video files and the H.265 video will give you a hard time if you want to use the H.265 video in HitFilm Pro 2017, a professional video editing software that marries traditional non-linear editing tools with a high-level video effects compositor.?

High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), also known as H.265 and MPEG-H Part 2, is a video compression standard, one of several potential successors to the widely used AVC (H.264 or MPEG-4 Part 10). In comparison to AVC, HEVC offers about double the data compression ratio at the same level of video quality, or substantially improved video quality at the same bit rate. But H.265 video is not friendly to many NLE software like HitFilm Pro 2017. In HitFlim Pro 2017 support page, H.265 video is not supported.
