Samsung Blu-ray Player Won't Play Some AVI Files, Solved!

Samsung Blu-ray player can play some avi files but not others
I have an external hard drive that I hook up to my Samsung bluray player. Most movies that i upload to it are avi and most of them work. But at times, some shows or movies that are also avi don't. What's going on? and how can I fix this?
