Convert MOD to MPEG with MOD Converter

JVC GZ-MG500, Panasonic SV AV100, Cannon FS100 and other similar camcorders record videos in MOD format. Neither JVC nor Panasonic has ever explained what MOD is, but it is widely recognized that an MOD file is modified MPEG-2 file with audio in a non-standard Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound. Some people would rename the MOD files extension into MPEG and try to play them with Windows Media Player. It does work to some MOD files. Yet you need to work a little more to convert MOD to MPEG. Experienced guys may use professional video editing tools, but for novices, Pavtube MOD Converter is considered as good choice.
