Davinci Resolve won't import MOV files

Thought I'd try 12 for some open credits. Made custom titles in AE, exported QT movies as animation with an alpha. Resolve refuses to see or import the files. Is this something I'm doing wrong?

Why Davinci Resolve not import MOV files

It is well know that MOV is a container file format which can encoded with various different video and audio codec, although Davinci Resolve supports to handle MOV files compressed with QuickTime, Prores, DNxHD codec, however, if you are trying to load other uncompatible file codec like MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 (A)SP, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, VC-1/WMV, Real Video, VP8, VP9, MVC, etc, Davinci Resolve will definitely fail to load it.

Transcode unsupported MOV for Davinci Resolve

Step 1: Load MOV files into the program.
Start the program on your Mac computer, click "File" > "Add Video/Audio" or "Add from folder" to load unsupported source video files into the program.

Step 2: Specify output file format.
